Purchased with support of a local landowner, and built by a large group of volunteer families, HolyGround Parua Bay is owned and operated by Northland Evangelical Movement - an interdenominational christian charitable society with representatives from many different churches in Whangarei.
In 2014 we celebrated 50 years of children's Easter Camps at Parua Bay! Thousands of children have enjoyed new friendships, full tummies, fun activities, and learning more of our amazing God while at HolyGround Parua Bay. Many of these children have gone on to learn to lead, to teach, to worship, to organise, to cook, and even to serve on committee! We also run camps for youth including leadership training, discipleship, worship, arts, sports, and community service. We are committed to serving our community by continuing to offer low or no cost children's camps and youth leadership training, and by sharing our facility with other church, school, family and community groups.
